Opening a True Youth Checking Account
Our True Youth Checking account can be opened at any of our lobby locations and will require a True Youth Savings Account.
Don't have a True Youth Savings Account? You'll need the following:
- Child's birth certificate or government issued ID. If the child is 16 or older, they must have a government issued ID.
- Child's Social Security Number
- Adult 18 years old or older as a joint owner, with their government-issued ID and Social Security Number.
- $5 deposit required to remain in the True Youth Savings Account as their share of the credit union for as long as the account is open
True Youth Home Run Sweepstakes

ODDS OF WINNING DEPENDENT ON NUMBER OF ENTRIES.
The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:00a.m. Central Daylight Time (“CDT”) on April 1, 2025, and ends at 11:59:59p.m. CDT on April 30, 2025.
The winner will be determined by random drawing of eligible entries conducted at Austin Telco Federal Credit Union’s headquarters located at 11149 Research Blvd, Ste 300, Austin, TX on May 5, 2025. Final determination of the winner will be made by an Austin Telco Federal Credit Union (ATFCU) official whose decision is final. The winner need not be present to win. Winner will be notified via phone or email on the drawing date reflected above. To claim the prize, winner must respond to phone or email; the winner will have twenty-four (24) hours to respond after being contacted by phone or email provided during registration. In the event the winner is unable to be contacted, the winner’s timely response is not received, or the winner does not qualify, ATFCU reserves the right to choose an alternate winner by random drawing from all remaining eligible entries no more than twenty-four (24) hours after ATFCU becomes aware of the forfeiture. To obtain the name of the winner, send your request and a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Austin Telco Federal Credit Union 11149 Research Blvd, Ste 300, Austin, TX 78759, Attn: Marketing – True Youth Home Run Sweepstakes. All such requests must be received within six (6) weeks after the end of the Sweepstakes Period.
Employees and officials of Austin Telco Federal Credit Union and the immediate family members or other members of any such employee's or official's household are not eligible to participate.
Prize: Only one (1) prize is available. Winner will receive four (4) Round Rock Express baseball tickets (to a to-be-determined home game at the Dell Diamon during the 2025 regular season) and one (1) VIP stadium tour experience for the winner and their guests. The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the Prize is $300.
Prize winner shall be solely responsible for federal, state, and local taxes, if any. All expenses not specifically provided for herein, including transportation to and from the venue, parking, concessions, and merchandise (if applicable), are the winner’s sole responsibility. Any winner who is, or has previously been, a member of ATFCU must be in “good standing” as defined by the policies of ATFCU, and cannot have been disqualified for membership with ATFCU, or the Prize(s) will be forfeited.
By accepting a prize, the winner(s) consent(s) to disclosure of his/her/their name(s) and agree to grant ATFCU the right to use his/her/their name(s) for promotional purposes without further compensation or permission, except were prohibited by law.
Participants agree that Austin Telco Federal Credit Union and its employees and/or officials (collectively, “Telco Parties”) and each of their respective affiliates and their members, officers, employees, and representatives (collectively, “Releasees”) shall not be liable for and hereby release the Releasees from losses or injuries of any kind resulting from participation in contest, acceptance of the prize, or any technical malfunctions of the telephone network, computer system, computer equipment, software, or any combination thereof, or any misdirected entries. Participants also agree that the individuals and entities listed in this paragraph are not responsible or liable for any injury or damage to a participant related to or resulting from any part of this contest. You may enter the Sweepstakes by mail without opening an ATFCU True Youth Checking account during the sweepstakes period. To receive one (1) entry, hand-print the following on a plain 3” x 5” index card: “True Youth Home Run Sweepstakes,” your full name, full mailing address, day and evening phone numbers, email address (if any), and date of birth and mail it with proper postage in a sealed, stamped and hand-printed #10 envelope to: “Austin Telco Federal Credit Union ATTN: Marketing – True Youth Home Run Sweepstakes”, 11149 Research Blvd., Suite 300 Austin, TX 78759. Limit one (1) entry per 3” x 5” index card. Mail-in entries must be handwritten and postmarked by April 23, 2025, and received by April 30, 2025. Proof of sending or submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by ATFCU. No mechanical reproductions will be accepted. ATFCU is not responsible for lost, late, illegible, invalid, misdirected, mutilated, incomplete, or postage-due mail/entries, which will be disqualified.
